Though I would add that I fear it would require a pretty advanced Japanese ability to get the full value out of it. It definitely fits your description of lighthearted comedy, and has incredibly realistic conversations on a wide variety of topics, so I think it's also very educational. It's a sort of mockumentary about two girls interviewing people about their various obsessions or fixations with random silly things. The story is interesting and touching but it’s a real comedy too (especially Takasu-sensei’s. Foreigners trying their best to learn the Japanese way of living.
